Today I participated in a CCW class hosted by BlackWolfCCW. The program was a new class under Arizona’s new rules and though I have no previous with which to compare the class, I found it to be solidly presented and well done. I was very pleased with the program.

I will be rereading the Arizona Revised Statutes sections concerning Firearms and Justification, and on Monday I’ll be submitting my application.

According to the instructor I might have the permit as soon as this Friday.

Fort Worth Allen Chapel of the AME Church

This church is the foundation of the AME (African Methodist Episcopal) Church in the Fort Worth area and was founded in 1870. The chapel was constructed in 1912.

The Church is located on the edges of Fort Worth’s Uptown district which is experiencing some urban revival.
